On Human Rights Day an enthusiastic and diverse group of people gathered on the Cliff Path in Hermanus. They joined 380,000 people world-wide in an initiative to raise awareness of the fact that too many people still do not have access to clean water and sanitation. On another perfect day in paradise the group walked from the New Harbour to the Old Harbour, with a welcome rest stop at the Hermanuspietersfontein site where members of Hermanus Rotary provided refreshments. Then it was the last effort to the Old Harbour, a well-earned rest and a new awareness of the privilege of living in Hermanus with clean water on tap.
