We are thrilled to announce that Peter Chadwick will be the guest speaker at our members’ talk on Tuesday 17 March at 17h30 at the Green House. His topic is “Conservation Photography and Conserving South Africa’s Seabirds”.
As a dedicated conservationist, Peter Chadwick has 30 years of strategic and operational conservation experience in terrestrial and marine protected area management. This talk is therefore particularly relevant to our efforts to achieve the ideals of the Cape Whale Coast Hope Spot that was launched in December 2014.
He has worked within all of the major biomes in southern Africa as well as having provided expert conservation advice at a global level. His conservation and wildlife photography is a natural extension of his conservation work where he has numerous opportunities to capture photographs that showcase the beauty and complexity of the outdoors. Peter’s photography is internationally recognized, with this work appearing globally in a wide range of print and electronic media. Whether you love birds, photography, wildlife conservation or just a good talk, you will not want to miss this one.
