On the 5th of March we went to Piet se Bos. At Piet se Bos we looked for bugs.Karen Coates, who is a biologist,told us to put a cloth under a bush and hit it with a stick so that the bugs would fall on the cloth. We looked for about two hours and found a few bugs that we put into containers. We used nets to catch the insects. We tried to catch a dragonfly but they were too fast.
We also found some gecko eggs which Anthony Sabbe is hatching. After we had found a bunch of different insects we tried to identify them. When the outing was done we went to the beach and had a picnic.
